American rapper, songwriter, TV personality and motivational speaker, Mason Durelle Betha better known as Mase, has a net worth of $8 million.
Mase, who got into the world of rap music courtesy of Sean Combs aka Diddy, recorded several successful albums that were produced and distributed by Bad Boy Records, before leaving the music industry in 1999 to become a religious preacher and motivational speaker. He later returned to the music world in 2004 to record an album, titled “Welcome Back” that was also produced and distributed by Bad Boy Records, but had to quit again for the second time because he could not get released from his contract with Sean Combs.
In 2009, he returned again to record a third album, titled “I Do the Impossible.” He is currently a free agent attempting to get a performance contract with a new record label. His debut studio album Harlem World that was released in 1997 reached #1 on the Billboard 200 and US R&B charts in Canada. In addition, his album titled Double Up that was released in 1999 reached #2 on the US R&B chart while his album Welcome Back that was released in 2004 reached #3 on the US R&B chart and #4 on the Billboard 200 chart.
