Wiz Khalifa who is part of the new generation rappers, along with Drake, Kid Cudi and others, that came up through internet mixtapes is known for being a resident of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where he eventually settled with his family after spending time in Germany, Japan and the United Kingdom because both his parents were in the military.
The rapper who first became widely known after the release of his smash hit single, titled “Black and Yellow”, that reached #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and in the end sold over 3 millions singles, released his debut album titled ‘Show and Prove’, in 2006, after which he got signed to Warner Bros. In 2014, he released his album Blacc Hollywood that reached #1 on all three of those charts.
In 2016, he progressed to release is album titled Khalifa that was also a successful album. While his single “See You Again” Ft. Charlie Puth reached #1 in the US, Australia, Canada, Germany, Ireland, New Zealand, Switzerland, and the UK. Some of his other famous song are “Roll Up”, “Young, Wild & Free” (with Snoop Dogg featuring Bruno Mars), “Work Hard, Play Hard”, “We Own It (Fast & Furious)” (with 2 Chainz), and “Sucker for Pain” (with Lil Wayne, Imagine Dragons, Logic, and Ty Dolla Sign featuring X Ambassadors).
